Elizabeth Bay Marina

Elizabeth Bay, NSW, Australia

Description

Elizabeth Bay Marina is located in Elizabeth Bay, NSW, near the popular Beare Park. The marina has existed for over 100 years and is a popular place for boaters, kayakers, residents and tourists visiting the area. When the wood pontoons began to fail, Bellingham Marine was hired to replace them.

The new facility has 13 berths, ranging in size from 12 to 15 metres. There are also 47 swing moorings surrounding the marina as well as a 4 metre wide skirted wave attenuator to protect the site.

Project Features
  • Unifloat concrete pontoons
  • Skirted Unifloat wave attenuator
  • Grated decking for encouraging growth of seagrass
Project Scope

The new configuration has 13 berths, ranging in size from 12 to 15 metres.
The skirted attenuator protects the marina from wave action.
